Frank Kinard (Frank Manning Kinard, Sr.) was born on October 23, 1914 in Delshatchie, Mississippi. After going to high school at Central (Jackson, MS), Kinard attended the University of Mississippi. Kinard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Brooklyn Tigers over the course of his 7 year NFL career.Kinard also played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.

Most people believe that 1943 was Frank Kinard's best year.
