Frank House (Henry Franklin House) was born on February 18, 1930 in Bessemer, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on July 21, 1950 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1954, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 9 home runs and 38 RBI. House played for the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Athletics and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Frank House's best season was 1955, when he slugged 15 home runs and knocked in 53 runs.
