Born on July 13, 1920 in Irvington, New Jersey, Frank Hiller (Frank Walter Hiller) played for the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants over the course of his 7 year career. Hiller broke into the bigs on May 25, 1946 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 4.04 ERA in 62.1 innings pitched in 1948, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Frank Hiller's best season was 1950, when he posted a 3.53 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 55 batters.
