Born on November 6, 1911 in East Highland, California, Frank Gabler (Frank Harold Gabler) played for the New York Giants, Boston Braves and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 4 year career. Gabler broke into the bigs on April 19, 1935 with the New York Giants, and put up a 5.70 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1935, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Frank Gabler's best season was 1936, when he posted a 3.12 ERA.
