Frank Fernandez (Frank Fernandez) was born on April 16, 1943 in Staten Island, New York. He made his Major League debut on September 12, 1967 for the New York Yankees. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .170 with 7 home runs and 30 RBI. Fernandez played for the New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, Washington Senators and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Frank Fernandez's best season was 1970, when he slugged 15 home runs.
