Frank Emmer (Frank William Emmer) was born on February 17, 1896 in Crestline, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1916 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1926, his rookie year, he hit .196 with 0 home runs and 18 RBI. Emmer played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 2 year career.
