Frank Croucher (Frank Donald Croucher) was born on July 23, 1914 in San Antonio, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1939 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1939, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 5 home runs and 40 RBI. Croucher played for the Detroit Tigers and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career.
