Frank Connaughton (Frank Henry Connaughton) was born on January 1, 1869 in Clinton, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on May 28, 1894 for the Boston Beaneaters. In 1894, his rookie year, he hit .345 with 2 home runs and 33 RBI. Connaughton played for the Boston Beaneaters and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
