Frank Coggins (Franklin Coggins) was born on May 22, 1944 in Griffin, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1967 for the Washington Senators. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .175 with 0 home runs and 7 RBI. Coggins played for the Washington Senators for his entire 2 year career.
