Frank Cassara (Frank L. Cassara) was born on March 22, 1928 in San Fernando, California. After going to high school at San Fernando (CA), Cassara attended St. Mary's College of California. Cassara made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
