Frank Bucher (Frank H. Bucher) was born on December 19, 1900 in Fairport, New York. After going to high school at East Rochester (NY) and Fairport (NY), Bucher attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Bucher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Pottsville Maroons for his entire 2 year career.
