Frank Barrett

Born on July 1, 1913 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Frank Barrett (Francis Joseph Barrett) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 5 year career. Barrett broke into the bigs on October 1, 1939 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 90.1 innings pitched in 1944, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Frank Barrett's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1944, when he posted a 3.69 ERA. However, others believe that it was 1945, when he posted a 2.62 ERA.
