Frank Bacon

Frank Bacon (Francis William Bacon) was born on January 11, 1894 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (South Bend, IN), Bacon attended Wabash College. Bacon made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Dayton Triangles. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Dayton Triangles the entire time. Bacon also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Dayton Triangles the entire time.
Most people believe that 1924 was Frank Bacon's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
