Fouled (Act of Shooting)

When a person is fouled while taking a shot or in the motion of taking a shot. A player is rewarded with two free throws if he/she misses or just one free throw if he/she scores.

There is no actual time limit set for "in motion" but the player usually must attempt the shot within the next second after the whistle has sounded.
