Born on March 3, 1918 in Mooresville, North Carolina, Forrest Thompson (David Forrest Thompson) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 2 year career. Thompson broke into the bigs on April 26, 1948 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.84 ERA in 131.1 innings pitched in 1948, his rookie year.
