Forrest Grigg (Forrest Porter Grigg, Jr.) was born on January 10, 1926 in El Dorado, Arkansas. After going to high school at Longview (TX), Grigg attended the University of Tulsa. Grigg made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Rockets and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.Grigg also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 3 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1950 was Forrest Grigg's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
