Ford Garrison (Robert Ford Garrison) was born on August 29, 1915 in Greenville, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1943 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 4 home runs and 39 RBI. Garrison played for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 4 year career.
