Football League to Americanise

The Football League could adopt a NHL style penalty shootout in future seasons in a bid to end a team's content to play for a draw.
It could take the form of a modern football penalty shootout, or the form of an Ice Hockey like style, where players would have 8 seconds to dribble the ball from the half way line to score.
I think this is awful. I hate the idea that the Football League could end the concept of a draw, which has attracted no criticism for 130 years or more - even today - nobody really wants it.
The NHL didn't really want it - it was only really brought in to reinvent itself after the lockout.
This would only occur in the second to fourth tiers of English Football - those contained by the Football League. The Premier League is run by the FA.
I think we should keep our draws - there's nothing wrong with them - it's the old "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" saying. They should spend more time stamping out diving in the game in Europe, rather than working on trivial Football League issues.
