For those who have forgotten how long a meter is, this goal was from 96 yards away.

They should definitely give that Foster guy the Chris Osgood Memorial "Soft Goal of the Year" award...

So if he can do it from so far away, why can everyone else on the pitch only get it in from a lot closer only once or twice a game?

Wow, he gave up a goal to the goalie REPLACING him? Insult to insult! Ron Hextall isn't impressed. Bad call to give them the free kick to begin with. Refs suck.

Slight exaggeration from the commentator there. Robinson has always been the number 1 for England under McLaren, he gave Foster a start in the last friendly just to give him experience of playing at the highest level - now we're back into competitive games Robinson will be back in goal.

The irony - "Shittu" left it for the goalie. His name rather sums up the quality of the defending...

...not that you'd say that to Big Danny's face eh Alex? :)

In Dannys 'defence' - Foster has since admitted he called the ball and told Shittu to leave it.

..and yes, it STILL hurts!

As I said in the recent AWIR: Everyone in the UK is probably thinking, "That should be the Goal of the Season!"
