Floyd Young (Floyd Alexander Young) was born on November 23, 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Clark (New Orleans, LA), Young attended Scottsdale Community College and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Kingsville. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 7 year career.
