Born on August 25, 1928 in Jerico Springs, Missouri, Floyd Wooldridge (Floyd Lewis Wooldridge) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career. Wooldridge broke into the bigs on May 1, 1955 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.84 ERA in 57.2 innings pitched in 1955, his rookie year.
