Floyd Robinson (Floyd Andrew Robinson) was born on May 9, 1936 in Prescott, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on August 10, 1960 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .310 with 11 home runs and 59 RBI. Robinson played for the Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Floyd Robinson's best season was 1962, when he hit for a .312 average and knocked in 109 runs.
