Floyd Rayford (Floyd Kinnard Rayford) was born on July 27, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1980 for the Baltimore Orioles. In 1984, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 4 home runs and 27 RBI. Rayford played for the Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Floyd Rayford's best season was 1985, when he slugged 18 home runs and hit for a .306 average.
