Floyd Little (Floyd Douglas Little) was born on July 4, 1942 in New Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at Bordenton (NJ) Military Academy and Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), Little attended Syracuse University. Little made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Little also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.

Most people believe that 1973 was Floyd Little's best year, as he ran for 979 yards, ran in 12 TDs and hauled in 41 receptions.
