Flipper Anderson (Willie Lee Anderson, Jr.) was born on March 7, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Paulsboro (NJ), Anderson attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1989 was Flipper Anderson's best year, as he hauled in 44 receptions, had 1146 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
