Flex Scheduling Rules

I notice that many people are upset that the Pats/Giants and the Packers/Cowboys are going to be on the NFL Network. Many people are also wondering if they can make it a Sunday Night flex scheduling game. That cannot happen sadly, here are the rules.
1. Number of primetime appearances. There is a limit to how many games a certain team can have in primetime. The maximum is 6, and Dallas already has 6 for the year.
2. Thursday, Saturday, Monday flexing. Any game not being played on Sunday cannot be moved to NBC because of commitment to a certain day, and it would be a logistical nightmare.
3. Moving games to FOX or CBS. An impossibility for any game to be moved to FOX or CBS. If there is a game on FOX that is shown in the morning (west coast), it can be moved to the afternoon.
4. Protecting games. You may be wondering why games like the Steelers/Pats and the Giants/Lions were not flexed. In the case of the Giants/Lions, it was protected by FOX, and will stay with the network. The Steelers/Pats couldn't be moved for the sake of the Pats number of primetime games, and the fact that it was protected anyway by CBS, meaning I cannot watch the game because of the Cardinals @ Seahawks game on FOX.
Okay, any other questions? I'll be willing to answer any.
