Born on 1862 in East St. Louis, Illinois, Fleury Sullivan (Florence P. Sullivan) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career. Sullivan broke into the bigs on May 3, 1884 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.20 ERA in 441 innings pitched in 1884, his rookie year.
