Five New York-centric quips

I love how Eli Manning gets blamed for not being able to handle a game when he doesn’t have a running game when I can think of only two QBs who can Favre and Brady

Yesterday’s game proved the Giants need another deep threat.  Here’s a thought Mr Moss, if you could catch the ball consistently that person could be you

The sound of heads hitting walls was the Jets front office realizing McNabb will definitely be on the trading block screwing up the Jets trade Chad plans

Most trades are loved by some and hatred by others in all teams fan bases but I have never found a trade so universally loved as the Mota for Estrada trade

Could someone explain how a rotation of Pedro-Maine-Perez-Hernandez-5 th starter sucks so much and a rotation of Wang-Hughes-Kennedy-Mussina-Chamberlain is a great one?  I mean besides the first one is the Mets and the second one is the Yankees?

1st off I agree with you about Eli. The funniest comment I heard on this mornings sports-talk radio was" The Vikings shut down the Giant run game." Hell that was done last week with Jacobs Hamstring. The giants may not win another game. They need Pam to slap their egos again. The reason the Mets rotation don't sound as good as the Yankees is that the Yankee staff can give up 5 runs a game and still win!!!.

anything that touches that yankees side of the subway tracks is great....the mets are the better team they fell apart last year at the end but sure they were old they got alot more going for them then the yankees who will have to buy another group of position players in the not so distant future...the mets are aging but they've got prospects around the board and there rotation is just as stellar...but leave it to the tainted media to put the yanks and a pedistal

1) Eli Manning gets blamed for putting up 28 points for the other team. The interceptions were the result of bad passes, not the lack of running game. 3) The Jets have no plans to trade Pennington as there is no market for him. He is a highly paid QB whose time in NY is done. No team is going to trade for him when they know he is going to be cut.

A team will trade for Penny if it will get them a guarantee at him. If he gets cut many teams will be after him and he might not go to a team that would have traded for him
