More Important, then good. Winning this game, keeps hopes alive. The Washington Nationals still won the series, that's the problem.
This should be a turn around from this point on. Willie Randolph promise it, and he shouldn't break it. It's more needed, because it will hurt New York. Not winning the division, will bring down the team. They wouldn't recover for the wild-card.
8-4 win against the Nationals helped, because goals can still be achieved.
Top of the second, Paul Lo Duca hit a sacrifice fly. Moises Alou came home. The score was 1-0.
Bottom of the inning, Jesus Flores grounded out to third. Ronnie Belliard scored. Matt Chico singled to left, and Robert Fick scored. The Nationals finished the inning, 2-1.
David Wright singled to right, and Jose Reyes scored. The Mets tied 2-2, top of the third.
Fifth inning, Luis Castillo tripled to deep center, and Reyes scored. Wright hit a sacrifice fly, and Castillo scored. The Mets were up, 4-2.
Austin Kearns grounded into fielders choice, and Felipe Lopez scored. 4-3 score, in the fifth inning.
Top of the sixth, Lo Duca hit a sacrifice fly, Alou scored. The Mets were up, 5-3.
Sean Green scored off of a throwing error by Ficks. Wright doubled to right field, and Castillo scored. Alou singled to left, and Wright scored. The Mets ended the inning, 8-3.
Ryan Zimmerman singled to right, and Justin Maxwell scored.
The Mets finally won. But their still in trouble!
