'Fever Pitch is based on the book by Nick Hornby (who also wrote the screenplay). The movie follows Paul Ashworth as he attempts to intensely follow his favorite team, the Arsenal F.C., while also trying to fit in other less important things, like say a girlfriend, into his life.
