Born on March 18, 1977 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic), Fernando Rodney (Fernando Rodney) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 4 year career. Rodney broke into the bigs on May 4, 2002 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 3.52 ERA in 71.2 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Fernando Rodney's best season was 2006, when he posted a 3.52 ERA and struck out 65 batters.
