Born on July 15, 1982 in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo (Venezuela), Fernando Nieve (Fernando Alexis Nieve) played for the Houston Astros for his entire 1 year career. Nieve broke into the bigs on April 4, 2006 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 4.20 ERA in 96.1 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
