Felix Mackiewicz (Felix Thaddeus Mackiewicz) was born on November 20, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1941 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .273 with 2 home runs and 37 RBI. Mackiewicz played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Washington Senators over the course of his 6 year career.
