Born on June 18, 1975 in Barahona, Barahona (Dominican Republic), Felix Heredia (Felix (Perez) Heredia) played for the Florida Marlins, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets over the course of his 10 year career. Heredia broke into the bigs on August 9, 1996 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 4.29 ERA in 56.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Felix Heredia's best season was 2003, when he posted a 2.69 ERA.
