Felix Fermin (Felix Jose (Minaya) Fermin) was born on October 9, 1963 in Mao, Valverde (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on July 8, 1987 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Fermin played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 10 year career.
