Fay King

Fay King (Henry Lafayette King) was born on March 7, 1922 in Dothon, Alabama. After going to high school at Lanier Boys' (Macon, GA), King attended the University of Georgia. King made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played for the Chicago Hornets, Chicago Rockets, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Fay King's best year, as he hauled in 50 receptions, had 647 receiving yards and caught 7 TD passes.
