Farmer Steelman (Morris James Steelman) was born on June 29, 1875 in Millville, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 15, 1899 for the Louisville Colonels. Steelman played for the Louisville Colonels, Brooklyn Superbas and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 4 year career.
