Born on September 17, 1886 in Fort Lyon, Colorado, Farmer Ray (Robert Henry Ray) played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 1 year career. Ray broke into the bigs on June 13, 1910 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 3.58 ERA in 140.2 innings pitched in 1910, his rookie year.
