Falcons Gets Kicked While They're Down(AGAIN)

The Atlanta Falcons are suffering, 3 wins on the season, 5 key players getting fined this week, they are scraping the bottom of the depth chart for another QB, they won't be without Michael Vick for at least another 2 seasons(if they want him), and their coach Bobby Petrino jumped off the sinking ship as if his name was Leonardo DiCaprio. But heading into a week where the Dolphins have finally wow a game, you would think anything is possible and I get up this morning and breaking news is Bill Parcells is very likely to be the new Vice President of the Falcons. The same man that returned America's Team to national relevance was going to help fix the mess that is the Atlanta Falcons.
"I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it. [Owner] Arthur [Blank] and I have had some pretty constructive discussions. I basically will oversee the football operations. We'll meet today -- not in Atlanta -- and work out some of the final details but I don't think there's any deal breakers here," Parcells said earlier. Suddenly it looked like a bright spot in Atlanta, and then......Parcells refused the Falcons offer. Why? Because he is considering from America's punching bag, the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins need someone like Parcells more than anyone that's gotta sting the ATLiens. He gave them his word but as we all know in sports your word means nothing. Hell, a contract just about means nothing nowadays. Parcells hasn't officially taken the Miami job but it looks like a great possibility. Maybe the Fins wont blow this draft after all.
