Born on June 1, 1887 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, Dixie Walker (Ewart Gladstone Walker) played for the Washington Senators for his entire 4 year career. Walker broke into the bigs on September 17, 1909 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.30 ERA in 199.1 innings pitched in 1910, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Dixie Walker's best season was 1910, when he posted a 3.30 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 84 batters.
