Evan Vogds (Evan Edward Vogds) was born on February 10, 1923 in Johnsburg, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Fond du Lac (WI), Vogds attended the University of Wisconsin. Vogds made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Chicago Rockets. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Rockets the entire time. Vogds also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers the entire time.
