Ev Rowan (Everett Larwence Rowan) was born on October 18, 1902 in , OH. After going to high school at Chillicothe (OH), Rowan attended Ohio State University. Rowan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1932 was Ev Rowan's best year.
