Ev Fisher (Everett Earl Fisher) was born on March 1, 1914 in , CA. After going to high school at Santa Rosa (CA), Fisher attended Santa Clara University. Fisher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1939 was Ev Fisher's best year.
