Sunday is the Foursomes, whereas Monday will be the Fourballs.
Last year's match came down to the last hole, when Europe won to take the title by two (7-5).
Both teams have 12 players, but alas they are not all available on the Internet for the USA (mainly because they don't know about it...) If you can find the teams out (or happen to know them), please add them for me.
Still, it will be a big match on this side of the Atlantic, and is sure to be yet another TV Hit for Ant & Dec - despite having competition from Time Team on Channel 4 - where for the first time in History, archaelogists will be allowed to dig the gardens of the three Royal palaces at Buckingham, Holyrood and Windsor.
I think Europe will win again - although I have no idea of the relative strengths of the two sides. It appears the amount of "Desperate" in the US Team is foreshadowing events over the Bank Holiday weekend.
