Born on June 23, 1912 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Gene Ford (Eugene Matthew Ford) played for the Boston Braves and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 2 year career. Ford broke into the bigs on June 17, 1936 with the Boston Braves.
