Erve Beck

Erve Beck (Ervin Thomas Beck) was born on July 19, 1878 in Toledo, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1899 for the Brooklyn Superbas. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 6 home runs and 79 RBI. Beck played for the Brooklyn Superbas, Cleveland Blues, Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 3 year career.
