Erubiel Durazo (Erubiel (Cardenas) Durazo) was born on January 23, 1974 in Hermosillo, Sonora (Mexico). He made his Major League debut on July 26, 1999 for the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .329 with 11 home runs and 30 RBI. Durazo played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Erubiel Durazo's best season was 2004, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .321 average and knocked in 88 runs.
