Ernie Zalejski (Ernest Raymond Zalejski) was born on November 23, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Washington (South Bend, IN), Zalejski attended the University of Notre Dame. Zalejski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
