Ernie Woerner (Erwin Woerner) was born on May 26, 1906 in , NJ. After going to high school at Central (Newark, NJ), Woerner attended Bucknell University. Woerner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Newark Tornadoes. He played for the Newark Tornadoes for his entire 1 year career.
