Ernie Riles (Ernest Riles) was born on October 2, 1960 in Cairo, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on May 14, 1985 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .286 with 5 home runs and 45 RBI. Riles played for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 9 year career.
